Grant Giving

Creating meaningful partnerships through grant giving is a fundamental function of the DePonte Family Foundation. We are inspired by and grateful for the dedication of so many organizations working to alleviate the suffering of animals and support the wellbeing of children and families across the country and worldwide. DPFF is excited for the opportunity to

join and help strengthen these efforts to bring equity to the lives of all beings.

Funding Preference

Funding preference is given to:

​

  • Organizations that work to alleviate the suffering of animals, namely by providing the following services: animal rescue, rehabilitation, medical care and adoption services. 

​​

  • Organizations that provide educational initiatives to help raise awareness and increase empathy for the humane treatment of animals. 

​​

  • Organizations that support childhood development and education.

​

  • Organizations that provide financial, medical and social support to families.

Eligibility Requirements

In order to be considered for a grant, please ensure that your organization meets the following requirements:​

​

  • Organization must be classified as tax-exempt under section 501(c)(3) of the Internal Revenue Code and as public charities under Section(a) of that code.

​​

  • Organizations classified as a private foundation under Section 509(a) are not eligible for funding.

​​

  • For-profit organizations are not eligible for funding.​
